The new sub group for transport aims to look at some of the issues and problems that people with learning disabilities experience with transport. The group is planning to engage all relevant partners to look at how we can provide affordable, safe and flexible transport to meet people’s needs.

"Routeforward is a UK-first, the uniqueness of this project is that it is based on a person centred and holistic approach to transport and travel focusing on what is best for the individual."

The Routeforward project, supported by Coventry Partnership and delivered by Coventry City Council, Grapevine, Swiftlink, Connexions and Coventry PCT will see those who may struggle to travel matched up with individualised travel solutions that will give them the confidence to step – or cycle or bus or train, out by themselves.
